Does installing a HID Xenon converter kit in a car with a manufacturer warranty void the warranty?

I just bought a new car and it didn't come with HID lights. I was thinking of installing them myself by using one of the kits that you can buy online. Would this void any part of the warranty, or maybe even the warranty as a whole?

My warranty mentions modification to the vehicles elctrical system as voiding part of the warranty, however, that will really only come into play, if somethign goes wrong with your electrical system somewhere, and only ifs its in the same harness as your headlights are.

I have hids in my car, and i have had work done warranty on my car for electrical issues. I have also had warranty work done for other issues.
