What can be wrong with my motorcycle?
Yesterday, I was coming down a road that the speed limit is 50 mph. Then the engine just cut off, so I held in the clutch, and cruised to the side of the road. The oil light was on, so I put some in. Then it would not kick on, it has a choke, it kicked on and I barely made it to my girl's house. When I tried to go home, the motorcycle would turn on, but it sounded like it wanted to shut off. Then I give it some gas, and then it cuts out. What do you think can be wrong with it?
If the oil light only came on after the engine shut off then this is normal. Since you lose oil pressure when the engine dies the light will always come on, if the light was on before the engine quit and now stays on even when you get the engine to run you should stop trying to start it until the oil delivery issue is resolved. If the light goes out while the engine runs then you either have a clogged fuel filter or the carbs need some work.
