Is it possible to repair a scratch in crankcase cover?
I dropped my bike in the Garage today trying to get it into the small parking spot my parents left for me. Just turned to sharply and over she went. Here is a picture of the scratch in my crankcase cover. Anything I can do to clean it up or fix it?

Thanks... I'm feeling pretty upset today that I dropped my bike going 0 MPH.
Dont feel upset...most of us have done it too...lol. I have the same scar on my CBR....lost my footing in a patch of gravel.
Unfortunately, the only way to fix rash on a cover like that is to either sand the whole cover out, and repaint it, or order a new cover. The one on my bike was about 80 bucks. Not too expensive, but not a cheap scratch repair either.
