Should I switch from artistic gymnastics to acrobatics?
Atm I do artistic gymnastics, and my club doesn't have a very good "legacy". so to speak, they usually come near last in competitions, and i'm the only gymnast to come within the top 3, aka be on a podium, at a competition.
not that i don't love gymnastics ALOT, esp beam and bars, but the gym that is literally five minutes away from my house has been producing national, regional and world acrobatics champions, and when acrobatics is introduced to the olympics, they will most certainly produce olympians. so far, that club has given Team GB every single one of it's acrobats.
so my question is, since the other acro gym club are much tougher and push you much more, should i transfer there and learn acrobatics instead? i do love artistic, and i'm not sure what i think about acro (the club do tumbling, acro, tramp) but i need to be pushed and worked more than i already am if i want to succeed more than i already am!
